Barro Negro Medium Bowl
Barro Negro Small Bowl
Tierra Collection
Formed from the rich black clay of San Bartolo Coyotepec, this small bowl embodies the centuries-old Oaxacan tradition of barro negro pottery — known for its deep, smoky sheen and organic finish. Each piece is hand-shaped on a simple wheel and polished with a quartz stone before being fired in underground kilns, where a reduction process transforms the natural clay into its striking charcoal hue.
The result is a smooth, matte surface that carries both warmth and depth — subtle variations of tone that reveal the bowl’s handmade origin. Compact yet substantial, it’s perfect for serving condiments, holding small trinkets, or simply adding an earthy, sculptural accent to your space.
Minimal in form and rooted in heritage, the Barro Negro Small Bowl reflects the soulful simplicity of Oaxaca — where ancient craft and contemporary design meet in harmony.
