Some collaborations don’t need explanation—they feel inevitable. Two worlds meet, their languages different but their stories aligned. This is one of those moments.
For this rare five-piece collection, we invited West African artist Kader Boly—renowned for his textured, symbolic works that bridge heritage and abstraction—to paint directly onto our sculptural terracotta vessels. Each form began in the hands of Indonesian artisans, shaped with raw clay and traditional techniques. Then, in Kader’s studio, they became something more—living canvases, transformed through his instinctive, storytelling brushwork.
The result is a meeting of craft and expression, where functional objects cross into the realm of collectible art.
The Artist

Kader Boly’s work is rooted in memory and movement. His gestural lines—often in earthy ochres, deep blacks, and glints of gold—speak of ancestral presence, the rhythm of nature, and the quiet strength of ritual. There’s a pulse in his marks, an unspoken language that feels both ancient and immediate.
The Process
Formed by hand: Each silhouette—stacked, curved, or elongated—was sculpted in terracotta by Indonesian artisans.
Painted by hand: Kader’s brush brought them to life, layering movement and meaning in every stroke.
Signed & archived: Each vessel is a one-of-one piece, documented for provenance.
